Really really solid material throughout their entire discography though I'm not too sure how well received this project is because of their 'different' take on black metal. Personally I fucking love the stuff and their cover of The Beatles' Helter Skelter is truly immense.

So anyone else here dig SEW or am I alone? Never seen any mention whatsoever of this band before anywhere at all on the net. Shame.

No worries, one of my favorites from Bella Italia and a pity they split-up...

I am happy to have the "Non Dvcor, Dvco"-LP too, dunno how widely distributed this one ever was...

Released on LP format in 2006 by Frozen Creations, limited to 300 copies with different cover artwork plus a red booklet.

Taken shamelessly from the MA page for the LP. Seems you struck quite lucky with it being limited so greatly.

I think one of the reasons the band might go kind of overlooked is their name. Oddly enough, that's what put me off the band when I first came across then a few years ago on a Behemoth Prods flyer I picked up.

Try to get hold of this compilation cd:

http://www.discogs.com/BMIA-Sugnvm-Martis/release/3860950

Features all bands from that particular "circle" down there.

yes they should have chosen the italian version of their name: "l'Ala Estrema del Disprezzo"...would sound much better!

indeed very great band with good concept and very lyrics...really sad they're gone...

Argento was/is in Ianua now, but it has nothing to do with black metal musically:

and Tombstone Highway:

Looking for Signvm Martis - does anybody have it?

Always thought this band was underrated. The name was one of the things attracting me to them - can't tell if it's poetry, Engrish or some combination thereof, but it works for me a lot better than Bestialfago Whatever. How are those Janvs albums?

They are pretty similar to Vltra in feeling but not that good. Still both recommended.
