TÖRR (CZ) Armageddon + Institut Klinické Smrti official CDs / LPs coming from DARK SYMPHONIES / THE CRYPT

We are proud to announce our cooperation with cult Czech Black/Death/Thrash metal band TÖRR to reissue their classic debut album "Armageddon" featuring the bonus tracks from the "Vlalka S Nebem" single, as well as their sophomore album "Institut Klinické Smrti". Extremely hard to find nowadays, we are pleased to make these long lost gems available again! Both releases will be mastered from the original analog sources for the best possible sound.

Both CDs will be designed after the original 1990 and 1991 CDs respectively, taking elements from the original layout with attention to detail, even down to the logo and typeface for a touch of nostalgia. Also featured are unpublished band photos, lyrics and new liner notes by original vocalist / bassist Vlasta Henych.

CD Limited to 1000 copies worldwide! Stay away from BOOTLEGS! Support the band and official releases!!

Also we will be pressing both releases on vinyl in both black and color vinyl options, limited to 500 copies each and housed in 350 gram gatefold jackets.

Coming later this year

in europe the Lps are/were pretty easy to get for normal prices. also the tapes are easy to find. maybe thats why they havent been rereleased yet. I dont know about cds though.

anyway the albums are masterpieces and it's great they get released again!
is there a chance you will do Kladivo Na Čarodějnice as well? It was done with the witchhammer demo as DLP but Kladivo... with original layout would be perfect!

HAIL TÖRR!

No current plans for Kladivo Na Čarodějnice now but that could chance as we are working with the band for some of the other early releases.

Must ask since I know little of the vinyl industry and label work in general. When you say that you will use the original analog sources, does this mean that the final product will be AAA?

no, it will be AAD, the original tapes were ripped to Digital like 99.9% of all audio files. We started with the analog files and created 24 bit wav files of those which are being used as masters.

It good to see these reissued but I would hardly call these albums "extremely hard to find" as they were pressed in large amounts when released (20 000+ I believe) and can be found for around 15eur or so if one knows were to look. It's more that people have become incredibly lazy and unable to make the required effort to get a hold of them.
