Here is an album that gets a lot of hate, but I have always loved it. Listened to it again today and it has aged well. I know a lot of Voivod fans do not like this era of Voivod probably cause its softer than their thrash days. I think the songwriting is so good on this release though despite it being different than their roots.


Actually I see this more as a realisation of their style. The sci-fi space vibe is much more forward on this release than any of their preious material. The Floyd over is one of my favorite covers ever as it is true to the original but doesnt sound out of place on the album at all. And Jack Luminous is a pretty damn epic song. The art and presentation are cool as well. Done 3-d comic style it goes perfect with the si-fi lyrics. I hope a repress isnt far away with the 3-d stuff in tact.

Big fan. Great production and well conceived, catchy songs. Props for being one of the last "underground" metal bands on a major during the grunge explosion.

aside from maybe a few so so tracks, overall the album is great IMO

Absolutely love it....."Jack Luminous" is one of my all-time favorite Voivod songs.

Definitely a good album. I enjoy it as much as Nothingface and more than Angel Rat.
