Blessing in Disguise

Every song is great and "Anthem to the Estranged" contains one of the best riffs ever.

They finally got themselves a decent album cover for the new album.

I'd say the last good one was for The Dark. The ones since have ranged from merely ok to some of the worst ever.

I enjoyed their last album so I'm looking forward to this.

I like everything they did up to the third album. Great, solid heavy metal. People ignoring "Blessing in Disguise" should definitely give it another change.
The band name is also one of the best in the genre, fuckin' METAL CHURCH!

I could just never get into 'Blessing...' for some reason (and consequently, I pretty much ignored their following output), but it's been decades since I've listened to it. I know a few people whose tastes I respect who do rate it, so perhaps I will give it another chance. I still listen to The Dark and the debut on a fairly regular basis.

Question: What's their 'Live 1986' album like? I see HRR is re-issueing the LP next month. It's got a good track list for one thing.

If anyone digs Mike Howe's old band Heretic, Urubuz Records seems to have released a CD containing "Breaking Point" and "Torture Knows no Boundaries".
