I'm almost 100% certain the art is done by Ketola and the layout by O'Malley. Will check up on it though.

I've never heard anything about Ketola having anything to do with it. At least according to Discogs,

Sign me on board for all the Emperor albums, chose Nightside Eclipse as the best though for this particular poll.
There is obvious talent in spades in this band... just too bad part of the fold decided that making weird music with his wife was somehow cooler.  |

it says "Cover concept & design by Stephen O'Malley & N.A.P./Emperor"...so no Ketola here...
anyway, voted for ItNE as I listen to it the most nowadays, but Anthems is a masterpiece too... |

A guy from Dragon Rouge claimed Ketola had done it. He was obviously wrong yeah. Just checked the booklet myself.

That Emperor cover is just a photoshop type work using Gustave Dore art isn't it?
Ketola can actually draw, so it would seem unlikely it is his doing.  |

The anthems cover is a good idea and you can tell that at some point it had great potential. But it just went wrong in every way. The bad 3D effect, the blurring of everything around the edges, the total blending of the whole image into a big mess...fuck. What a disaster.
