This has been round for ages and believe you me it's a lot faster than it used to be. If only there was one for UK/European distros.

Actually planned to make simular service(but with a bit different features) year ago or so but due natural lazyness i even never started....
anyway pretty cool that it is get done by someone, and well i dont believe that there is possible too much speed up, cause parsing data from websites is not fastest process, as well as search request ... though cashing might help, but again it will work only for searches that was done before |

Just ran 5 random searches:
15.5 seconds
8.5 seconds
27.5 seconds
8.9 seconds
12.6 seconds
leaps and bounds better than any alternative!
Perhaps if it starts to get more attention he will expand it. I'm assuming the guy is from America, so perhaps in the future (and with some help) he can get a Europe and/or World option. Definitely a lot of potential here, its running very nicely as far as I can tell.

| I'm sure the slowness is due to the fact that it's doing realtime searches for all the distros when you perform a search. It has to wait for 76 websites to return results. |
