I've been a Graveland fan since 1994 or so. I love everything up to Immortal Pride / Impalers Wolves era. Raiders of Revenge was ok but I could never get into the drum machine era stuff on the albums after Immortal Pride. I love Capricornus' sloppy style etc. Anyway, a friend played Fire Chariot Of Destruction and I loved it. Doesnt sound as mechanical... Are there any other albums where the drums are real or dont sound so programmed? There is so much material to sift through and I thought this might be faster.
Thanks in advance.

Try albums Will Stronger Than Death and Spear of Heaven. Far better than the albums before them.

A Will Stronger Than Death indeed. But Fire Chariot is still the best.
Blood of Heroes & Wotan Mit Mir are great EPs.

I'll second Wotan Mit Mir, got it for free with a trade ages ago and it really stuck.

I really like Memory and Destiny. That one and Fire Chariot are my favorite late era albums but Spears of Heaven is good too.

Need to check out some of the others mentioned myself...

Memory & Destiny and Will Stronger Than Death are both excellent albums in my opinion.

In agreement with previous posts, I'd start with Will Stronger Than Death. If you're looking for real drums, check the split with Nokturnal Mortum.

Wow... I just gave up after the drum machine made an appearance. I had no idea real drums came back. These are all awesome thanks.
Obviously the classics reign but there is still some Graveland for me to discover.
Ive been obsessed with Fire Chariot... all week.
