I think Morbid Angel has had shitty drum sound since Covenant, even in the albums that didn't suck.

Shocked

I'd agree on Blessed..., but Covenant and Formulas have a fucking great drum sound to me.

Exploited - Horror Epics (suits the darker tracks like the title song, but not the basic punk the band is know for!)

Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk. I like the record and think the production suits the music well enough, but the drum sound is just very plastic and weak.

I always thought the vocals on this album were far too quiet in the mix.

Mortuary Drape 'Secret Sudaria' has an absolutely horrid drum sound, especially for the style. It makes it next to unlistenable to me and kills the atmosphere.

I don't hear anything wrong with this album. It's near perfection.

The drum sound is terribly mixed, paper-thin digital hell to my ears, just terrible.
