| Yeah these emails are a dime a dozen. Didn't even know there would have to be any hacking involved and assumed it was some unfortunate bot -type thing that infects an email / msn account once you click the link address but if so, by the scope of similar emails I receive, these hackers really must have it in for every which type of insignificant low-life on the planet. |

With Some E-Mail Accounts you can type the Adress of the Sender as you like. So you can send Spam Mails from every E-Mail Adress you want, without having Access to it. You need only the Adress.

I mean that's good, but I'm starting to feel a little left out. Is it because I'm using Ubuntu?

NO, that's not related since it involves an external application, i.e. a webmail. Anyway, I'm glad too find another Linux user here.
