NUCLEAR DEATH (US) 5 YEARS OF DEATH! - 4LP BOX SET (CRYPT35)
The Crypt is proud to re-issue the first two albums from Arizona's cult Death metal act, NUCLEAR DEATH, Bride of Insect and Carrion for Worm. Both releases will be luxurious double vinyl sets with new liner notes, classic band photos and original artwork. Bride of Insect will feature the "Wake Me When I'm Dead" 1986 demo and "Welcome to the Minds of the Morbid" 1987 demo. Carrion for worm will feature "A Symphony of Agony" 1987 demo and the "Vultures Feeding" 1988 demo.
Forged in 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona, Nuclear Death were one of the few bands in the genre with a female vocalist, Lori Bravo. Their style was compared to the likes Impetigo, Blasphemy, Autopsy, Deceased, and Repulsion. Their first demo, Wake Me When I'm Dead, was released later that same year, receiving positive reviews from American and overseas zines. They were notable as at the time very few thrash metal artists had female singers. In 1991, the band released their more controversial work, entitled Carrion for Worm, which features vocals by Autopsy's Chris Reifert on two songs.
This ultimate edition will be strictly limited to a one time only pressing of 666 hand-numbered copies - 222 of which will be classic black vinyl, 222 on RADIOACTIVE YELLOW vinyl and 222 on TOXIC GREEN vinyl. These killer slabs of wax come housed in 2 separate gatefold jackets with UV High Gloss Varnish, featuring the both of the original Wild Rags covers and layouts. Also included will be a 12 page- zine styled booklet with classic flyers, exclusive band photos, classic interviews, new liner notes by Lori Bravo and an introduction by Michele “Mick” Toscan / The Nuclear Abominations rag! Each gatefold will contain a huge poster of each respective original cover artwork.
Both gatefolds come housed in an amazing, heavy gauge case wrapped, hand numbered box. We apologize for the steep price tag but unfortunately due to the deluxe packaging including the box, 2 full color posters, 4LP, additional booklets and royalties due, we were forced to raise it slightly more than usual. Rest assured that this monster box set is well worth every penny.

MISERY (Aus) A Necessary Evil + Bonus Tracks 2LP (CRYPT36)
The Crypt is proud to announce our partnering with long time Aussie Death Metal veterans MISERY to unleash for the first time on vinyl, their classic brutal 1993 debut album "A Necessary Evil" featuring the correct tracklisting. Also included as a bonus on this set will be the only track from the "Astern Diabolus" demo that was not included on the original CD - "Morbid Dreams", as well as the 1992 "Sorting of the Insects" demo tracks. Also, the original tracklisting which was mis-labelled on the original CD has now been corrected on the vinyl version.
Take a journey back in time as we present this masterpiece on 2 glorious 180 gram LPs (300 on blood red vinyl and 200 on classic black vinyl) presented in a 350 gram triple gatefold jacket with a UV gloss varnish, complete with original classic artwork, unpublished photos, new liner notes, and including a huge 24" x 36" poster of the cover artwork. Prepare for some of the best and sickest death metal ever to emerge from Down Under!!!"

CULT DEMO SERIES: VOL 2. TIMEGHOUL (US) 1992-1994 Discography (CDS02)
For the first time ever on Vinyl, The Crypt proudly presents the complete discography from the legendary Science Fiction / Fantasy Death Metal legends TIMEGHOUL (USA).
Born in the Midwest United States in 1987, Doom’s Lyre remained relatively quiet, recording no material before changing their name. In 1991, Doom’s Lyre, now renamed Timeghoul, set out by releasing two demos; 1992’s Tumultuous Travelings and 1994’s Panaramic Twilight.
Largely ignored and mostly forgotten, these recordings did not receive the recognition they deserved until years later. Timeghoul’s eclectic and complex style of US death metal started to gain momentum within the underground as overlooked and classic material.
Presented in a 350 gram triple gatefold, reverseboard jacket featuring Mark Riddick's fantastic original tri-panel artwork. Additionally, this set features classic ads, flyers, band photos, lyrics and additional liner notes my Mark Riddick and band member Mike Stevens. Limited to 500 hand numbered copies and spread over 2 LPs for optimal sound, 150 copies will be on classic black wax, 250 on black wax with white splatter (Cosmic edition) and 100 on silver wax with black splatter (Dark Descent Record Exclusive edition). Included in all 500 copies will be a 12" x 36" 3 panel poster of the Mark Riddick artwork.
Exclusive to the vinyl edition will be new liner notes by founding band members Michael Stevens and Antonio Andre. Also included, the much sought after 1993 Webster Sessions rehearsal tracks Project 1-3, as well as 2 unreleased tracks from the band's first ever recordings. Prepare for one of the most unique and complex death metal offerings the early 90's had to offer.

I ordered the Timeghoul through DD even though I think I liked the cosmic black vinyl better. But where international shipping is concerned, I must use the USPS option where available. |

I was very pleased with the Sun of Tiphareth boxset, but that Nuclear Death box has topped my expectations. Not really into fancy vinyl colours, but that radioactive yellow looks tempting! _________________

I still have the exclusive limited vinyl colors for Depravity and Embryo Stigmata. Good time to also pick up the exclusive Timeghoul silver splatter vinyl too.
slayera, the radioactive yellow was my choice for my collection as well. _________________ http://www.darkdescentrecords.com |

Any chance these (well, the Nuclear Death in particular) might reach any distros/labels in Australia? The Coffin Slave perhaps? |

I would think they would also be interested in carrying the Misery! |
I'm pretty sure Adelaide Underground distro stocks The Crypt releases. That is where i got Authorize from. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

Ordered all 3 on black wax... it was tempting to get the silver from Matt for Timeghoul, but fukk it. This definitely puts a dent in my bank account, but it's well worth it. So excited for the Nuclear Death demos on vinyl... _________________ Analog Worship

I considered waiting to see if hushy would maybe get these in,but have long accepted that living in a service town for antarctica has its drawbacks....high postage for EVERYTHING being one of them.Black ordered! _________________ http://sinistrousdiabolus.bandcamp.com |
