Ordered the Timeghoul DLP from DDR. Hopefully I'll have enough disposable income to order the Nuclear Death box before it comes out as well.

So there's no chance of someone (DDR?) doing a Nuclear Death CD set? The vinyl box looks gorgeous but... Being broke sucks.

I noticed all the new releases are on 160 gram vinyl. Will all future Crypt releases be 160 grams?

I hope so. 180 gram is a gimmick.

Is it unnecessary?

Yes. I have boxes of 80s pressed vinyl on 125 gram and they still sound great. Besides, you don't get that vinyl jiggle with 180. It is less susceptible to warping though but the 160 fits in the jackets better.

Yep.

Not to mention that the 180 gram records pressed at GZ with printed inner sleeve have troubles to fit into the sleeve as well, making them more prone to scratches. I remember this with Proclamation LP's.

That is the main reason I am trying 160 gram because of all the issues with the 180 gram fitting into the sleeves. It's more of an experiment. The sound is exactly the same so hopefully this will solve all the issues with putting the LPs in the jackets and them fitting correctly.
