Much of the BILSKIRNIR material sounds alike to Filosofem...

WENDE
I like it a lot, even though it sounds like Burzum/Filosofem worship

I believe his albums are free for download - links are somewhere on his site or facebook.

I never thought this album was depressing or sad or anything like that. I often see it tagged as such. Sounds more reflective and introspective to me. Maybe I could see that comparison being drawn on the most broad basic sonic levels (raw black metal) - but the 'feeling' is totally different for me. Just my useless .02.

Suddenly - Life has new meaning

Completely agreed with that. Hvis Lyset Tar Oss certainly has something depressing about it, although it still fits more into your Filosofem description than into feeling created by depressive black metal acts.

As for Hvis Lyset worship, Sterbend is obvious one

Never seen anything depressive about Hvis. It sounds healthy and pure, idealistic.

Well, it surely is not depressive but rather melancholic. Melancholia does not equal Depression; the former is a refined state of mind whereas the latter is a mental illness...

Burzum did never encourage any borderline bullshit with cutting yourself up, or whatever.

Melancholic is a much better way to put it, yes.

Drudkh ?

As for the first 3 songs of Filosofem, I think Varg borrowed a lot to fellow norwegian band THORNS. So I would say THORNS demos, I you don't already know them.

Really? It has extremely similar production, some similar riffs, distorted vocals, and repetition. In the grand scheme of things, I'd say it's similar enough to warrant a mention.
