Is it safe to trade with Brazil ?

Current bidder on eBay is from Brazil. He has 100% positive feedback but I have never sent anything to Brazil before. I will use Royal Mail's Airsure fully tracking service but has anyone had any problem with Brazil before ?

You're talking about a pretty huge country.

Have sent several times to Brazil with 0 problems. Also to Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala.

0 problems from any of them, thus far.

From my experiences, it seems like shipping has gotten better and faster to Brazil. A couple years ago I would ALWAYS have problems! Packages would take a month to be delivered or would go "missing".

In recent months/last year I have noticed much faster delivery. Normally 2 weeks (similar to US to Europe) and no "missing packages".
I also DON'T do any of the registered/insured stuff. I just sent it the cheapest way with does not have tracking. It;s a risk (with the mail system AND your buyers honesty!) but it still makes it there.

Maybe it's just luck but it really does seem the quality of mail in Brazil may have had some improvements.

its like any country, there are probably rip offs, there are legitimate people too though, so the nation doesn't matter.

South americas post system has been known to be not too great like most parts of the world, but if you send registered with some sort of tracking you have nothing to worry about, if they complain about this then you can question.

It is like writing Do Not Bend etc etc Fragile!
It is a direct order and should work well enough. People respect that in every nation.

Send registered and type out the address so all characters are 100% legible in big letters. Some guy i traded with one time had an address some 10 lines long and they just never delivered it or sent it back because I wrote an O as an exponent to a 10 rather then an A like I was supposed too...

I sent a tape to Brazil a few months ago, it took a few weeks for it to arrive but it got there.
