Funny how actual artists find this to be pathetic and straight up plagiarism. But of course the NWN knowitalls think this is perfectly fine and that "everyone does it!"

Well I do think the general consensus here is that what the guy did is fucked up. Interestingly enough though I took this same topic to an illustration and design forum and the results were almost exactly the opposite. Most people were of the "it happens all the time, who cares" camp, with a few idiots in there saying he didn't steal anything. There's a lot of art bullshit you can throw around in support of either conclusion but I think this guy is really going above and beyond what would typically be tolerable. |
