I am working on the fifth full-length album right now.

Also, as it is the 15h year of Satanic Warmaster's existence, there will be some special releases during this year in addition to the new album (who knows if it will be ready this year).

SW is a good black metal band. But, for me, was very dissapointing when this band pretended to play in Hellfest, France and was removed because of the use of some NS themes/imaginery . The explanation he gaves about it was weird and ambiguous, something like there was a personal inspiration on this themes but the band is not NS and bla bla bla.
Sure this band is not NSBM but... what did he expect? It was ridiculous this band tried to play there, in such a comercial festival, and the explanation made me difficult to take this band seriously.

The bottom line still is that bands like Bolt Thrower get "evil" bands
that don't fit their world view thrown out from festivals and I really
don't like it. To be clear, our show was cancelled because of threats
from other artists, not directly because of the content of my songs.
I didn't expect anything, but was hoping that the organizers actually
could think for themselves. I would've been an idiot not to use the
turmoil for my own benefit as well.
Edit: ...and no, I won't avoid "comercial" festivals just so that you can feel special by listening to my music and the dumb kids can't.

I really donīt mind how many (or the kind) of people who listen the same music I listen to.
But from my point of view, as your band is extreme far beyond the sound, it doesnīt fit into "comercial" (I mean,less underground) circles you will find again and again this kind of situations. Maybe you have freedom to play in Finland and other nordic countries with no problem, but in other you will face this kind of threats until you play in small concerts and in unknown locations.
In this ocassion was Bolt Thrower but Im affraid it will perfectly happened with a antifa sector of audience too.
Is a shame this kind of things happens, I must say...I support real and total freedom of speech.
But the point I donīt understand well is why (under my impression) you tried to justify (minimize?) the links about ns themes/imaginery with your band. I will found more honest some direct answer and nothing to hide like "SW is what is it: extreme music with extreme ideas.Period."
But just my point of view.

So you would have done better? Wow, please tell us how you would have responded at the authorities of that festival, what you would have said and how you would conduct the band into a bright future. So please lordnausea, let us have part on your knowledge.

Take this piece of knowledge for free:
First of all I will keep this into my head very clearly:
My band used to have a totenkompf in the logo, also a song about adolf hitler, some photos of me with corpsepaint and a portrair of the fuhrer and celtic cross banners....also some splits with bands like TOTENBURG, ARYAN BLOOD and EVIL.
Then I will ask myself if my band fits in that festival.
