For me this is such an underrated album. Primal, gritty, out of control and borderline catchy in all the chaos and fury!!! I never get tired listening to it. Anyone agrees? |

Good description. Been a long time since I've heard it, but the playing and song structures are pretty loose from what I remember.
I prefer Need to Control, but this is the one where they sounded totally at ease with their style. |

This was the Brutal Truth album I had the most trouble getting into initially, but once I did it made me appreciate the band so much more. I picked up the original LP for pretty cheap last year, along with Kill Trend Suicide. I think it's worth noting that I'm not a very big grind fan.
I tried to name my favorite song from the album, but that's just impossible, so I'll list a few favorite songs: Dead Smart, Sympathy Kiss, Machine Parts, Blue World, Fisting, Pork Farm. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

This is exactly why this album was hard to get into initially, and why it was so rewarding when I did finally "get it". I really wish there would have been another album with this line-up before they split. The re-formed BT is a good live band, but I don't care for their new material. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

| New recordings are way too slick and stale. BT should be grtty and fucked up like this, caveman style! |

That was the thing though; when they started they sounded like they were trying to be the grind band to end all grind bands. On this album they sounded like they were just enjoying themselves. Now it's back to trying to sound relevant again, but in a scene that's been dulled for a decade or so slick Relapse-grind. |

This album has some tracks that I like, but Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses will forever be my favorite BT release. _________________ http://churchofdisgust.bandcamp.com - ROTTEN DEATH METAL

| I've always thought SotAK has the most annoying album cover of all time, but the music itself is outstanding. Unpredictible and wild. Not my personal favorite BT, but a remarkably unique record. |

| Its great and varied, like the album Cephalic Carnage wish they could write. Lots of different song tempos from slow to fast, and just brutal moments throughout. Their older stuff is kind of hit and miss for me. |

| I never really got into their ultra-hectic/chaotic phase. I think the versions on the live album sound better, even if more generic. I also like their post-reformation stuff, the tin can production of this and Kill Trend Suicide combined with the falling down a staircase drumming make it harder to follow and enjoy. I still like those releases but not as much as the first and last two albums. |
