I wouldn't mention Nargaroth because they never had a possibility to fuck anything up, they were fucked up from the beginning. |

Correct. It's about bands that ruined their career, credibility, legacy etc. irreversibly from a 2013 view.
Good examples: Guns N'Roses, Sepultura.
Bad example: Master's Hammer
Debatable: Metallica (too big to fail) |

| Morbid Angel fucked up so bad that I actually have a hard time listening to any of the stuff with David Vincent now, and I've been a fan since I was a preteen. |

I think Morbid Angel still have one chance left, they had so many strong albums before the last extremely shitty one. And I am not even a big fan.
But if they make Illu 2, then it get's difficult. |

Honestly I wish they'd just go full into "Radikult mode", and drop the death metal thing altogether. In some weird way I think I'd respect that more. |

my same thoughts. the same way I respect SEPULTURA, but that doesn't mean I could listen to anything they've done after 93. |

meh, subjective. for example: Sepultura could never ruin their legacy. Master's Hammer imo will never again touch the spark of genius that was Ritual and everything since Mantras* just seems like they found out there is an underground fan base for their old stuff unbeknownst to them and they decided to throw some quick DIY stuff together to sell it. Metallica I see no debate at all, seeing interviews and watching things like some kind of monster, etc... I have no desire to revisit past Metallica albums anymore, even their best stuff has kinda played itself out; a legacy ruined if you will... whereas I find myself way more into Megadeth these days than I ever was. I like this thread though so lets carry on... _________________

Indeed. this has scarred me for life and prompted the immediate sale of some marginal Taake releases. kinda made the decision very quick and easy at that point
agreed about Lust too. something new would be nice! I think I heard he is very tied up being an average adult like many of us (maybe even with a kid too?) in another thread a while back. if nothing ever comes along, at least it ended on a good note _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

Man, look at em' go.
As for Lust, you just reminded me that I've owned the second CD for two years and never listened to it. |
