thanks doom-mantia cacique and adb
when i leave the airplane i need a drink,so probably i 'll buy whatever i find in my way.I'll keep on my mind some brands that you told me.After that it's cool to find out nice places with local/state beer.
doom-mantia yes,one list or some links would definitely help!i don't expect much from the metal clubs though.I generally want to see heads ready to roll and massive headbanging from the visitors of a metal club. It's difficult to see that in Germany.one friend told me that music volume at metal bars is disappointing low. This sucks. In Hellas ,as far as I can remember, volume was almost at maximum level.no fear to bother or wake up the neighboors!and when i was younger I was banging my head like a maniac every time i was visiting a metal club.
cacique 'currywurst at the corner of that A&O Hotel '? closed!

I'm going to be the odd one out, but don't drink Budweiser in Berlin (or anywhere in Germany) when you can get the local / state beer. No point going to one country just to drink a different country's beer, especially when said country makes excellent beer themselves.

You'll find food stalls all over the shop in Berlin, just walk 3 blocks in any direction pretty much. I generally never go to Berlin with a plan, I always find stuff to do there

I don't think you are the odd one out. It was probably the dumbest recommendation I've seen in a long, long time.

i saw these sights in Berlin:

- The Memorial to the German Resistance
- Holocaust Memorial
- East Side Gallery
- Potsdamer Platz
- the Halford metal bar
- Checkpoint Charlie
- Hitler's Bunkersite
- Brandenburg Gate
- Blacklands Club
- the Reichstag
- Berlin Cathedral
- Alexanderplatz TV Tower
- Luftwaffe Headquarters (currently the ministry of finance)
- Pergammon Museum/Museum Island (but didn't get to visit inside the museums)

I didn't make it to these sights but would recommend seeing them if you're close:

-the Soviet War Memorial
-the Victory Column
-Bebelplatz (book burnings site)
-Berlin Wall memorial
-Topography of Terror exhibit (former Gestapo/SS HQ's)
-Altes Museum (Old Museum)

some places not far outside Berlin's vicinity I would have loved to seen:

-Sachsenhausen concentration camp
-Spandau Citadel
-Sanssouci palace

I think everything I saw was free and well worth going to. Some sights were located within close proximity of each other so it was easy to plan to see a few at a time. I also went to a few places in Holland, if you end up going there let me know
