apparantly when they went for radio-heavy with British Steel and onward they decided to have a drummer with a style that was straight forward and steady ..

why they thought that was a good idea is beyond me though..

Just nursed myself through a hangover with the Metal Works VHS yesterday afternoon. I went with "Sad Wings" but would have gone with "Rocka Rolla" had I been able, as my band has been covering "Never Satisfied" since our first gig.

Of course someone voted for Point of Entry. I don't think it deserves the bad rap it gets but c'mon. Laughing

"Heading Out To the Highway", "Desert Plains" and "Hot Rockin" are all classic Priest tunes...but the majority of that album ranges from OK to awful. "Don't Go" and "You Say Yes" are both pure garbage IMO.

LOL That's OK - everyone has their own opinions, For example, 2 people actually voted for Turbo, and that's one of the worst albums I've ever heard!

Defenders Of The Faith.

Quite a few good albums in this poll though, not an easy choice really.

Ha! I just listened to Turbo. I could do without the butt rock bits but Reckless is a damn underrated Priest song IMO.

without thinking much because I've got whiskey coursing through my veins:
The trooper
Phantom...
Two minutes to midnight
Wrathchild
Aces high

I don't even know why I bother with this. Maybe you don't understand what a riff is.
