Definitely Prime Evil. Nothing else non-classic even came close.

To me, "Cast in Stone" is classic Venom. Probably because it was their newest album when I got into them, so I heard all of that stuff around the same time.

Prime Evil, one of my favourite Venom albums. Calm Before the Storm is pretty good as well, more like the Cronos solo album Dancing in the Fire. Never got into the newer "comeback" albums, but I guess I have to purchase Cast in Stone someday. Fallen Angels I got in trade and couldn´t believe how horrible it was, just total crap and really a fucking disgrace! Anyway they´re still very entertaining live.

Prime Evil, easily. I remember finding it in a cheap-sell bin at Carrefour (which is quite surprising) many years ago. Has been one of my fave albums ever since.

I don't like anything after Resurrection, because the production is so fucking (intentionally) godawful. But Cast in Stone is definitely worth checking out, as it's heavy as hell with a really strong production.

I find Metal Black enjoyable as well.
