So technically, this will be the follow-up to "Forbidden". But they won't even beat that turd with such songs.

Seriously, "The Illusion of Power" sounds like a kick-ass song in comparison.

I enjoyed the first riff and the riff behind the bass solo at the end. Overall pretty boring and useless. I'd give it a 4/10. Like somebody else said, 95% of doom metal is better. I'd take ORCHID over this any day!

A couple posters on MA actually thought "I heart radio on demand" was part of the song. Laughing

It is a very bland song. Standard Iommi. Brutal Ozzy. I do like the bass bit by Geez though.

i'm glad for the fact that the Grand Master of the Universe (Mr.Iommi) still playing and Sabbath keep going with Ozzy.
song is not so good, but the album surely will include 3-4 Sabbathic megaliths who will satisfy me as an eternal fan..

tony and geezer rules the last 3 minutes

vocals are occasionally good

too long

rubin continues to make bad sounding records

should be a couple of great minutes on this record, no hopes of getting an entire song kicking my ass

You like that shit Ghost album with its inoffensive riffs, ICP carnival intros, and weak vocals. Yet you're calling this bland? You are full of shit

I think the song is pretty solid. Pretty impressed actually. Was expecting something much, much worse.

Don't like it. It seems that Iommi already burned out.

Theyre playing in my area in august, tickets are fucking expensive... errrr. care more about that then this album.

Song is pretty good/decent. I expected horrible things though, as always.

Chorus is dumb. Hard to make gloomy music when you're filthy rich. Need the garbage world of working class England to fuel this music....
