This cult band from channel islands have a new album out called "the dark place ".
More in the vein of Death in the nursery, fat production,..released on their own Workshop records.
Expect pure Legend, sometimes traditional metal, sometimes leaning towards a more prog style,..with the unique vocals of mike lezala.
This band was 1 of the big surprises at the Keep it true fest this year, they ruled !

Order through www.legendjersey.com or drop Pete Haworth or Gary Aubert a message through facebook.

Also available on vinyl soon.

Agreed. As for the UK Legend, I prefer the first album, but Death in the Nursery is also great. If this new one is along those lines, I'll be interested to hear it.

There's no accounting for taste. You have yours, I have mine.

Donīt know what to think about this yet. I Love the old stuff, and these couple of songs I heard sound like modernized version of classic Legend. Anyway, thereīs too big of a chance I wouldnīt listen to the album after the first spin. Happened with most NWOBHM and heavy metal reunion albums, although luckily there are exceptions like Pagan Altar. I Think I just have to admit that I donīt like modern sound in heavy metal music, be it Legend, Judas Priest or Black Sabbath, whoever. Thereīs too much magic in the old sound and production techniques not available nowadays.

Nevertheless I would love to see them playing that old stuff live!
