Haven’t found anything as evocative and war-like as their more “pounding” tracks, even though a couple bands come close (Legionarii, Karjalan S.). Not a big fan of the ambient/melancholic side of the genre.
Even most Arditi stuff misses the point to me.

Any suggestions? I love listening to this stuff while warming up for lifting.

Thanx in advance…

I think Across the rubicon is a good going if you're looking for something more "pounding"

Across the Rubicon, March of Heroes, Wappenbund, Omnicore (second album). If you're into old Laibach, you might also want to check out Parzival. Infestation might also suit your need, but I find it too cheesy even by martial-industrial standards to wholeheartedly recommend.

Absolutely Wappenbund. Can't back this hard enough.

Some Derniere Volonte might fit the bill. Especially the "Ou Tu Iras" 7" and some tracks off of "Les Blessures De L'Ombre." The rest is likely too ambient or too poppy for your purposes.

Toroidh is probably also up your alley.

HERR is a personal favorite, but they may be too on the neofolk side of things for you.

Check out Tribe Of Circle. I consider them hit and miss, but their good stuff is great.

A Challenge Of Honour varies greatly in style, but some of their material is intense martial stuff.

Sturmovik might be more industrial and less martial than you're looking for, but worth a listen.

Bearer Of The Inmost Sun only ever put out a demo, one 7", and a comp track, but the martial tracks of that material were great. Their Der Blutharsch cover off of the "Fire Danger Season" set is possibly better than the original and "Hail Jerusalem" from the 7" is a genre highlight.

And of course, Der Blutharsch and The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud.

Some tracks by In Slaughter Natives, Sophia or Phragments should also do the job.

Oh, and here's a pretty weird idea, but this has a chance to turn out exactly what you need. Get your hands on some Two Steps From Hell and Audiomachine.

I was just about to say that. This epic crap has been captivating me for the last months. I actually bought the Thomas Bergersen solo album Illusions recently and it's definitely a winner.

Pretty sure most martial ambient bands would kill to sound like this.

some great recommendations as always guys...
Go figure I used to skip "intros" and now I listen to full albums made of them ehehe
Started being interested in this kind of stuff when realized I actually liked the noise/industrial interludes of Antaeus and similar.

Give Café de l'enfer a listen:

It's neoclassical industrial with satanic/erotic themes and images. Got their full length in a special box-set.

Diagnose: Lebensgefahr - Situation Lebensgefahr

IMO this song has the same warlike & triumphant feels as some Triarii songs.. Great "project" anyways, ignore the hype and bullshit and just listen.

Upcoming Legionarii side-project, I.R.O.N., is unveiling its first album "Evolving" sometime in the near future. Whole thing is streaming from bandcamp...

...more militant, less meditative than Legionarii's works. Hits the spot.

Nothing comes close to Triarii. As mentioned, Karjalan Sissit, Wappenbund and Sophia are good examples. Would add Predella Avant and The Protagonist to the list.

thanx man, loved Iron Legion from Legionarii and the split with Waffenrhue. More minimal but still powerful and evocative.

Buy 'Predella Avant - Carbon Figures' and 'The Protagonist - Songs Of Experience'. Both are what you need. Also mentioned already, but 'In Slaughter Natives - Resurrection' is great in this style.
