Has anyone seen this list, or has a link to it?

I'm really curious to where they placed Solstice, Warning, and Reverend Bizarre on this list.

As long as Pslam 9 is in the top 10, and Scald is mentioned, I will be fine.

There are 100 doom metal albums that are worth putting in a list like this? Did they repeat a few or something?

I bet anything that albums by Pentagram, Electric Wizard, and Pallbearer are in their top five.

Almost all of Decibel's top 100 are well rounded lists. They'll have new and old, black and death, melodic and funeral etc...I usually find myself agreeing with about 80% of it.

I agree- just ordered and can't wait to read it. There are way worse ways to spend $7.

Most top genre specific top 100 lists are fairly obvious and are really only useful for those just getting into said genres. Anything Decibel does is usually along those lines, although often in some annoying context. I flip through one every once in a while but have mostly been done with the magazine since one review for an Inquisition albums started out with "Black metal clowns..." and yet was an overwhelmingly positive review.

If there is no mention of Pagan Altar make sure to set your copy ablaze.

A top 40 would have sufficed.
Pretty sure some bands will be quoted at least 3 times.

Expecting 40 Watt Sun and The Sword high on the list, and no mention of Esoteric.
