Damn, I would really like to see Mare, but this is only 2 weeks after the Dark Descent Records showcase. I might just have to save for both shows.

Good luck with this, hope it pans out.
I went to that Matchitehew festival in Chicago a few years back (flew from Vancouver for it) and was amazed at how few people there were and several I spoke to said 'friends would have come but it was too expensive'. From memory it was like $30 per day for about 10 bands, including Marblebog from Hungary. Go figure...... |

Yeah, "go figure".
Marblebog wouldnt even attract 5 people here in Norway, and the few cd's I had of them in stock once I had to give away after years of collecting dust, and that has never happened before or after with any other band.
Mare is FAR from a well known band, but the interest for them has been insane the last few years. They told us there wouldnt be any people at the show in Prague last year either, let alone sell any merch, but with a line around the corner, sold out show and merch selling like ice cream in Africa, they had to eat those words. In comparison Watain sold around 70 tickets just weeks before, same with alot of other much bigger bands.
Noone knows what to expect with this gig, theres a possibility people won't show up, but let's hope that isnt the case.
