I just wish they released the splatter version first because it looks the best but the green / grey version will do me.

Yeah, kind of confusing you didn't specify it's Henbane. That splatter version looks cool. I guess I don't need a 3rd LP version of this though lol (have got the black version and pic disc). Good it's repressed though and good price!

While this is true (presented well, repressed and at a good price), it is a bit ridiculous that this album is now on a 3rd pressing and the album is no more than 2 years old. Smells of a larger hype cash grab than what you usually expect from HHR.

(*disclaimer* - I love the album, will not be hunting down the 10 vinyl editions and am grateful for HHR's move to DHL and releases they put out, but cmon...they are really driving the Rollins Record Scum movement with this)

Actually, this is the fourth pressing if I'm not mistaken. Almost like Rise Above records policy. I wonder who's more greedy here, the label or the band?

I thought the Rise Above tactic was manufacture shitloads of colors now, sell them later. HHR has been pressing more after they sell their inventory, no?

Maybe HHR did exactly the same, who knows? Not that I have a problem with this, but... it starts smelling like cash-making a bit. And it's a fifth pressing, actually, I forgot about the picture disc edition.

Thousands of sold copies, now what comes next? Interviews in glossy magazines and web-zines? Maybe a live gig??

I think by now we all know that HHB will release a pic disc version of their releases after the initial run is sold out....if sales continue to be high they press in another color. I dont see what the big deal is. CDG isnt the biggest band in the world, they probably didnt expect this many copies to be sold. I didnt either. Haxan took forever to sell out.

Actually no, just fourth. Black and green\grey versions both counts as "first presses" coz they're released at the same time.

Nothing against keeping the album in print but if you have to press it four times in a year maybe the initial runs should be a bit bigger?

That logic would then have required a crystal ball or some manner of seeing into the future though wouldn't it?

Small label, who could have forecasted that the record would sell as well as it did.
