Well HHR re-pressed Henbane and I have to tell you the double greens look solid and the picture disc is fucking wicked looking. Twisted Evil

Probably the one time I've ever wanted to replace my plain black version with a PD...

Wow, I'm also usually not a fan of Picture Discs BUT this one looks fantastic. Since it also comes with a nice gatefold jacket, I decided I couldn't pass it up. Just placed an order. The price is actually pretty decent too.

I didn't notice anywhere saying how many copies were still available. Do you have to be logged in to see that? In any case, I assume that since I was able to place an order that I secured a copy for myself.

Yea, that picture disc version is incredible, I also could not pass that up and ordered a copy myself.
I have to have that picture disc. Perhaps after a back to back play comparison I could part with the black version 1st edition for only a easy price of $300.
Pretty standard ebay fare no? Cool

Seriously though, that picture disc version was well thought out, color and layout of it really suits the overall appearance of this release. I think future releases done could take notes by this particular design and job well fucking done.

Wow, the pic disc is already sold out. The green one looks awesome too but getting both would have just been taking it too far for me.

No surprise to see the picture disc already sold out... the album looks extremely well done in that version, and if it's only 111 copies or something like that... not surprising, but I would not be surprised to see it pressed again either considering the obvious demand for it selling that fast. Laughing

The green one... I think it could have been a slightly darker green to match the actual printing green on the jackets rather than that light bright green, but whatever... black and picture disc version is plenty... that picture disc version is absolutely killer.
I don't think I have ever been that mesmerized by the format before. Wink

Same here, I love art like that and especially love the artwork on that album (I only have the HHR CD reissue currently), so when I saw how nice that picture disc looks I was really blown away. The brightness of the green vinyl version doesn't bother me but I see what you're saying. As for the picture disc, time will tell if it gets repressed I guess. Kind of takes away from the "limited" factor but that's how it goes anyway. I'm just glad to get a copy to look at and most importantly listen to.

Since this is actually the CdG 'Haxan' thread... I wonder if HHR will be doing a repress of the album and apply the whole colored and picture disc formula of success to that album then too? Razz

Shit... I need a new fluid stream of funds into my bank account. Everytime I turn on this damned computer and come to this forum I find something I want to hear and then subsequently own.

The picture disc version of Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult sold out just as quickly as this and it wasn't repressed so I doubt Henbane will be.

I got mine earlier this week. I'm actually listening to it right now. Sounds good to me. Only thing I have to compare it to is the CD though. There is the slight surface noise that pic discs have when you first put the needle to the record but once the music starts I don't notice it anymore. I'm happy with it.
