Well, now I feel like a complete idiot, only recently I had the opportunity to listen to them, two years after they split-up, and holy fucking shit I did not expected this at all, I knew people kept mentioning them over and over again with the "Bolt Thrower Riffs!" mantra, I am glad that I started with RoC, I afterwards listened to Warmaster, For Victory, and all of their rest stuff but it does not even compare.

West Wall's "Conquest or Death" is currently the greatest example I got in mind, mainly their tracks "Shield Wall", "Furore Teutonicus", and "On My Shield" from their last album, I need more of this.

Now, please recommend me straight up clones, not the stereotypical "check out these Bolt Thrower Riffs, man!", I do not want even tributes, I just want straight up 25$ Peruvian plastic bootleg clones of those Realm of Chaos riffs, especially tracks identical to WORLD EATER, Eternal War, and Drowned in Torment, I want this album to never end...

For convenience, I could ask that after citing the band, you could also give me the best album or release of that band on where start with them, I am not good at discovering a new band and then trying to listen anything from them until I like it.

Some bands people recommended to me so far are:

1. War Master (Houston, TX - a killer example!)

2. Trenchrot (Philadelphia, PA - what is their greatest RoC ripoff to start with?

3. Slugathor (Finland)

4. Hail of Bullets (Netherlands, mainly Of Frost And War)

5. Sanctum (Seattle, WA)

6. Arghoslent (obviously)

Maybe not close enough to RoC worship for what you're looking for, but Vastum is a big omission from your list. I'd start with Patricidal Lust.

It is fine, just be it straight up Bolt Thrower ripoffs regardless of release, I created this thread specifically because I was not satisfied enough with the "Bands with Bolt Thrower Riffs" that I kept searching for some time.

The new demo from Kommand definitely needs to be on this list!

Stormcrow - enslaved in darkness. Very solid crusty BT worship!

edit : kinda read too quick there. Maybe not enough of a clone, anyways it might still do the trick.

They only have one album, so start there and then go to the split/demo.

Other stuff: Hellshock (particularly Only The Dead..., in which they directly reference the main riff from World Eater), Caducity (first two albums; not nearly as on the nose as Hellshock, but a very underrated band that combines a lot of the mid-era Bolt Thrower sound with the sound of bands like early The Chasm!)

I wouldn't call Slugathor as plain Bolt Thrower ripoff/clone/whatever. They had their own style.
