Yeah...I was hoping more black/death bands would be on the black/death stage. Too many on the main stage to pass up.

Triptykon is really good live. Or was, when I saw them a couple years ago. Shatter has come out since, and that's a steaming pile of dogshit, so we'll see what direction they go in...

Shatter was recorded in the same session as Eparistera Daimones.

Quite the price jump, $255 for everything. Hope it's not too hot this year, going to be an unreasonable amount of walking.

255... Not sure what to think about that.

I understand that, and the material is clearly a step in a faggier direction. The album was cool, then this terrible pop metal EP is shat out into our ears. The fact it was recorded during the same session doesn't make it suck any less dong.

Three main venues instead of two, side-/pre-shows elsewhere, etc. If the $255 pass is equivalent to the earlybird ticket it'll get you in everywhere. That's a lot of clubs (or parking lots) to pay. It's expensive, but the price is fair considered in light of the number of bands and venues.

Just enough bands that I want to see are playing at each of the main clubs to justify an all-inclusive pass for me. That said, I'm glad I grabbed an earlybird. $255 is no joke.

I don't think it's a step in whatever direction or something. Those songs are outtakes and it's not too surprising that they are inferior compared to the album.

Triptykon finally made Warrior to add Hellhammer's Messiah to the setlist. Even Triumph of Death on some occasions! And their gigs what I have saw have been amazing. They anyways play more Celtic Frost material than Triptykon material...

New website is awful.

I'll get 3 day tickets eventually. Will probably be slinging records somewhere nearby.

I bought a 4 day all stage ticket today. I was thinking of only doing two days next year but the lineup is really solid. Plus I'll be trying to spread Codex Obscurum all weekend.

Got my 4-day pass yesterday. Don't know about y'all, but I'm happier than a pig in shit for this year's lineup.

At least every band I want to see is playing the same venue. Well, except Mitochondrion. A day pass for Rams Head will work for that.

This looks like it's going to be a huge clusterfuck.
