I wonder if TH is (still) popular among members of this board ...
Any comment? _________________

I still like Evil Never Dies the most. Hell on Earth deviated a bit and became too thrash-rock. I haven't heard the new one yet to judge. I have a feelin that he's running out of ideas though. The artwork I saw looked decent.
I'm not on bad terms with Joel and wish him luck with TH. It is sad to see him sign to such a shitty fucking label, but he did what he had to do to tour more. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

I really liked Hell on Earth, but it got boring quickly.
I have no use for the retro Thrash/Speed shit. It's a trend that's already died and is now being exploited by the shitty labels.
I prefer to stick with the few classic Thrash/Speed releases of the 80's. |

Never understood the big fuzz about this Band. I really like his Demo "Critical Mass" which is primitive and raw + they were good to get drunk in Bitterfeld 07. The rest bored me. |

I tend to agree with you these days. I pretty much gave up on new thrash metal.
The retro term got applied to TH after shit bands like Merciless Fun, Fueled by Cum, Bonded by Butt came out of the Mexican-American LA scene. It's disgusting to see these semi-major metal labels like Earache, Relapse and Metal Blade jumping to sign the next fun thrash band from LA. Death to fun thrash. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

I find Hell On Earth really great, but not for many listens in a short time. Also it'ss good that it is more MLP and no 40-more minutes length.
The best is still Evil Never Dies.
However I'm still interested in the new one. |

I got an advanced copy of the new one, and it's better than I thought it would be, obviously not as cool as the old shit, but it's waaaaaaaay better than the demo he did for relapse, which I thought was kind of......not good. The new one is kinda the same formula over and over again.like I said though, not as bad as I thought it would be. The artwork is a little neon for me. _________________ http://yersiniapestis.bigcartel.com |

slightly off topic
Relapse really needs to fuck off with the SHITTY Speed and Spikes releases (aside from just IN GENERAL) ... I mean the Absu tracks are fucking killer but the album art is atrocious and they are paired with Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, who are possibly the worst band in the genre. I just looked at the art for the Toxic Holocaust/Bludwolf(another gay fucking band) one and it's the same awful bullshit .. fuck this label! _________________ http://www.facebook.com/mitochondrion137 |
