Perfect summer music. Despite how much I love it, I know very little about the genre.

Anyone have any good anthologies they'd be willing to upload? Or what are some good bands/dudes I should check out?

Here's Bert Weedon doing "Apache."

This is all I want to hear right now.

I'm more into Beach Punk, namely HB & OC from 77-82, and this record probably ain't EXACTLY what you're chasing but I'd recommend the OST to Mourning of the Earth one of the quintessential surfing films- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHTDVfMZti4&list=PLNzR6RsH0XskPNoViXWf2AQcTK3ggN4xc

The Shadows are great... actually remind me of Burzum in a lot of ways. I was turned on to the genre by reading Thomas Ligotti.

You just got me on a two-fer, dude. Surf that sounds like Burzum and Thomas Ligotti.

If it doesn't have to be all happy peppy -kind of stuff then I'd urge you to check out Laika and the Cosmonauts.
