Quick calculation and worked out I spent a whopping €700 on music/merch this month. To put that in perspective that's just under a third of my wage. Definitely a personal record, by a long way but 100kr here, 200kr there all adds up. Need to cool the heels a little, can't say it's a good feeling hah...must be like what junkies feel like after coming back down to earth

anyone else wanna fess up?

There is no problem to spend € 700 for LPs if you earn € 3,000 a month. But this isn't definitely my case Crying or Very sad

Spending 1/3 of your wage on music is crazy.
I wonder how you've been able to do that.

Rent + Insurances + taxes+ gas/electricity + credits or mortgage
I can't possibly spend 1/3 of my wage on a leisure thing, be it my absolute passion...

Or you live with your parents or are a proud proprietor/landowner...

Nope, don't live with my parents. Mortgage is paid off, but aye, it's a fucking lot of money. The little things add up. I haven't worked out how much of that is postage yet, must be a lot. A few buys the postage was equal to the cost of the item(s). Usually spend about €100 a month. This was well out of the ordinary for me, but not for some people I know.

Are you sure that your location is Finland???
Don't get me wrong, but 700€ as entire wage is probably possible to earn only in countries like Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Portugal... etc.

The minimum wage in Portugal is 485€, so 700€ is quite good.

I guess you (and the poster above) mean weekly wage?. Mine is monthly. If I was earning €2300 a week, I wouldn't be sweating €700 Laughing

This can only be unemployment wage or internship. Do any jobs really pay that low here besides these or being a student?

I'm sure they meant monthly wage, too.

I mean, 700 € as minimum WEEKLY wage "in countries like Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Portugal"? Impossible.

ETA: Luis beat me to it.

Not an average worker, but one with no qualifications... Well, it depends because of the situation the country is facing nowadays. Some employers are not paying their employees what they deserve, blaming it on the European crisis. What they are truly doing is increasing their profits.
