Listening to Epitome of Torture...not bad. Only really ever heard In The Sign of Evil and am now going to check out the rest of their discography. Recommends?

Are you serious?

"Persecution Mania" is a must!!

I like everything up until and including "Better Off Dead". The albums which followed are not bad but they are not great either. I'm a 'fan' so I have them all and I do spin them once in a while. From the later albums I really like "M-16" and "In War and Pieces". I also like their latest one "Epitome of Torture" but I need to play it a few more times to see if it will grow on me a bit more.

Why stop? Sodom is the only active old thrash band with any real consistency.

The post 1990 (these are what I consider "newer") albums I recommend are "Tapping the Vein", "Get What You Deserve" (fuckin' raw, punky and ugly), "Code Red" and "M-16".

Fair enough, but they did start playing thrash again, even if it wasnt amazing.... All of these bands put out horrible trash/thrash. You kind of have to forget about it.... Just like Celtic Frost and their limp bizkit cd, or whatever...
