I think Putrid Death Sorcery overall is not getting the recognition it deserves. Vicious album.

I thought the vocals were great but the music itself didn't grab me.

Abyssal
Gorguts
Ulcerate
Irkallian Oracle
Grave Miasma
Mitochondrion 7"

All massive releases. Abyssal is some of the most fucked-up death metal I've heard in a LONG time, definitely a long-time favorite for me.

Bölzer's Aura is the best without hesitation and those two songs from Brutality were great surprise too, I can't wait for the new album. There was maybe few more solid releases, but nothing outstanding.

Me too. Vocals are amazing, but riffs are not that memorable. Promising band nonetheless.

I've listened to the new Grave Miasma album three or four times and I'm still not convinced of enjoying it. For some reason, I prefer their previous works.

I didn't like the sound on Grave Miasma album either. It needs more listens but the first impression is not very admirable.

The vocals are awesome... remind me of Death Yell

Grave Miasma and Antediluvian are crushing everything else for me so far. Ulcerate and Gorguts are also very good, as is the Carcass record imo.

I don't know what genre the new Begrime Exemious EP fits into...but I've been listening to it over and over. But other than that...Antediluvian, yes, Lantern, Bolzer, there are a few good ones in the sea of old school clone bands, tech widdly nonsense, etc.
