So far, Lantern had been my championed death metal recording of the year.

One thing to watch out for is the forthcoming Burn Pile demo. Newer band from Tacoma, WA. Completely fucked dark death metal somewhat in the vein of old Immolation and Morbid Angel, but with a really gruesome roughness to it. Just saw them play with Stargazer and Knelt Rote and it seriously tore my head off.

Svart Crown - Profane was good also
Morbid Tendency EP, killer
Ulcerate - Vermis is slightly disappointing compared with previous albums
also, I didn't enjoy Antediluvian - Logos that much, previous album is superior imo
still need to listen to the new Groguts properly

What?
If you pour sugar into your black coffee, will it still be black?
Well... yeah?

Well since there's mention of tbr stuff, I'm gonna say the Doombringer debut will be in the list in hoping that it gets out this year.

Any reason to believe there's a full-length in the work in the first place? If so, wonderful news...!

http://nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26920&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 but that was a year ago so...nothing a little optimism would hurt.
