I picked that LP up two years ago, and as far as I know it's not official.

I don't think so.

I'd also wager that the label details printed on it aren't those of the label that actually produced it.

I bought the double LP two years ago (red and green vinyl) and never thought about an official release...the "Divus" demo sounds horrible (there is a mastercopy circulating on the net which sounds much better) and the re-recorded version was restored partially (very amateurish job to my ears).
The live tracks have an annoying background noise and sound like recorded two rooms far away from the concert area...
I also bought the 1 LP version on black vinyl (slightly different layout), seems to be the same masters as taken for the double LP...I hope the stuff will be released officially sometimes...too many bad bootlegs out there...

The 2 lp bootleg is good and dates from late 2010 i think. The recent 1lp bootleg is from the recent bootleg series that recently poped up (Enslaved, Satyricon, Mayhem, Burzum etc...). It probably has pixelated cover and average sound. Stick to 2lp or the Sarcofago split.

I never listened to the SARCOFAGO split, but a good comrade owns that one and told me that it runs too fast and sound dull...???

That FUGLY artwork made me think bootleg indeed...

So that "pristine sound" is also bullocks?

If only they could release a no nullshit 1 black LP at 45 rpm with original B&W artwork from master tapes...

The cd version is nice enough to get, you should still be able to get it for a good price from Iron Pegasus.

I haven┤t heard the split boot with Sarcofago but as far as I remember the sound on this recent cd/lp is a bit clearer than on the Harmony Dies Vol 1 comp boot released in 1994 by Metalion and/or friends.

When the "Abysmal..." lp version was released some people here complained about issues with the vinyl, I am sure the thread can still be found.

This would be excellent. I have a dub of Divus De Mortuus that I'm happy enough with, but it would definitely deserve an official vinyl release.

I have no problems with the sound on this. I think it sounds very good.
The first demo sounds fine, just a little compressed.
I have the Harmony Dies comp. which has a good verison the "Divus.." demo and I'd say this DLP version is just as good.
The second demo is the best version I've ever heard of it. Blows away that shitty verison on "Unreleased Evil".
The live tracks I can live without. Although the unreleased tunes are interesting.
You people sure do bitch a lot considering these recordings come from shitty cassettes from the 80's.
With all the lies, exaggerated stories, shit talk between members you know Necrovore will never see official release.
We should be lucky this even exists.
