i agree w/ yosuke necros christos is great but i come back listening to drowned more often.also the best NC i think is Black Mass Desecration Demo. Its short, convincing with a great feel to it.

I think the Necros Christos LP is great and one of the best in years.

There are not many bands today that remind me of the days when Osmose and Deathlike Silence ruled supreme. When bands had their own identity and actually put effort into what they did. Necros Christos is one of them.

Yeah, agreed Necros Christos is great. So is Drowned. I guess the comparisons come only because both bands are friends?

NC is one of those albums that demands to be listened to in one sitting from beginning to end to appreciate the full effect and subtleties.
However, I listen to most of my music that way anyway.
