Quite saddened by Mare's early exit, but not to put a downer on a great night. Selection of beer was indeed quite shit, but at least they had Newcastle Brown ale...better than nothing I guess.

On another note, after hearing Mare's new songs, I must ask the unwelcome question...when comes the vinyl? They were astounding.

Here are some pictures I took with my smartphone during the concert and trip. The pictures weren't good because the stage was too dark for the cam but I think you still get a impression about the atmosphere.

Nice pictures, wish I was still there.

This song made me into one big goosebump.

That song (These Fountains of Darkness) is probably the best thing they have composed so far. It engages you in such a powerful way, it's almost emotionally draining to listen to. The part at 4:30 gives me goosebumps every time.

Can't wait for the album!

The gig was good by the way (Mare and Sortilegia were amazing), but the venue was way too small for the number of people that were there. It was really difficult to move around, and I'm assuming it was one of the reasons people were so still during OTOH.

Great video. Excellent gig only minor complaint was I couldn't hear the Mare vocals at all during the whole set I couldn't even hear what was being said in between songs. Missed OTOH (I didn't expect them to be on so early) but ill get to see them next month. Sortilegia were great as well. Seeing Mare live just makes the wait for the album a lot worse.

Thats very strange, the sound was perfect where I stood and most people said the sound was amazing.

I had no problems with the sound at all and we moved around quite a bit.

I must admit the sound for OTOH wasn't good where I was standing (I thought the same in Prague though so maybe they are just too loud for me ) Rolling Eyes

That being said, some harsh vocals for Mare did seem quite quiet at times, but overall it wasn't bad enough to class as a downer.
