Definitely not a rip-off.But my last order arrived with a big delay and I pay VAT.My payment was with bank transfer.I haven't seen any distro to charge his customers VAT..That's the reason I'm not going to order from there again.
Too bad because their catalogue is always interesting.

Every Customer has to pay VAT always. Maybe the prices in his catalog are net not gross. If you order from a different country, you may have to pay twice.

It's the first distro I've seen doing that.Nowhere in Europe distros charge VAT fees from my experience.Paypal fees, bank transfer fees yes.VAT never. It's a bit...I won't use the word..

With the greatest of respect you seem to have the wrong end of the stick here in regard to how VAT works.

I know that it's the entrepreneur who has to pay VAT for the value he creates, but he simply adds it to his calculation, in the end the customer pays it. I always have to pay 19% or 7% VAT, only entrepreneurs are entitled to deduct pre-tax.

Wholesale, yes. Not sure about a VAT number but I will ask. We don't pay VAT in the States usually, only the occasional customs fee. Honestly in 15+ years of record dealing I have only had to pay a customs fee once, and it was for a pair or shoes anyways.

Well no surprise then.
With DHL you're mail is fucked before the postage label is printed.

I never had issues with DHL. The only exception was when a parcel from Germany was shipped to my cousin's address in Poland (heavy parcel which would have cost way too much to ship to Canada!

HHR uses DHL now to ship to Canada and it saves me lots of money on postage. Slow as a one legged turtle but I don't mind waiting.

I paid a customs fee on a parcel from a German label. I can only imagine it had to do with the declared value. First time it happened to me. It was like 11 bucks.

After speaking with Steffen it appears that someone did indeed steal all of the vinyl out of the box and replace it with random art books for weight. Really fucking insane and it was nearly a $700 order. I do not hold out hope for any sort of recovery, but if anyone has experience with a DHL claim please post your story.

My god... Id buy you a beer if you lived near me. This is absolutely tragic. I wish death upon the postal thief. Hope he can be tracked down.

Now I think about it. Doesn't NO COLOURS usually use Hermes of DPD to ship orders and not DHL?
