Btw is track 7 really supposed to be called "Durch den Wirbel das Hasses"? "Durch den Wirbel des Hasses" would actually be correct. Normally I would not even bother to mention stuff like this, but this is really the first error I've noticed in any Blackdeath song title/lyric.

No, that was a typo from my side. Fixed, thanks for pointing that out.

Excellent news. Blackdeath always deliver! Definitely the most underrated Russian black metal.

This band is always good but that cover is hilariously awful.

In which world? At least here the band has "kvlt" status for, ehhr, decade+ (?). Would be curious to hear your opinion on what Russian BM band is overrated as well. Smile

P.S. The sound from TT is really awesome.

Yeah, that claim was nonsene. Blackdeath should be by now the most well-known Russian black metal band even for entry level guys. But their music was never meant to be popular, only for black metal freaks.

Looking forward to this new one. Should relisten couple previous albums too.

I can kind of see how someone would say this band is "underrated" because I feel like each release comes and goes and no one really says anything...and they play shows and it doesn't seem like a big deal ever... But at the same time they're pretty well known. So, I don't know, that's getting into semantics. It depends on how highly you rate the quality of their music, I suppose.

That cover art rules though (best goatface expression ever?), and the song sounds quite good.

This. Even investing thousands Euros into PR won't make their music accessible to average listeners. Smile

As if it's something "bad". Wink One of the main advantages of public discussions platforms (like this forum) is that you may immediately see the hype around band/release/label and automatically push the WC flush button without even listening. Twisted Evil

Not "bad" at all ... just saying I could see the point of view of "underrated" for this band....

And again, that could mean just your country, in Europe, the whole world, or maybe just where I'm from (USA). But it's not an outlandish remark, is all I'm saying. Over here, I honestly hear ZERO praise for the band, ever. Meanwhile I might here ppl gabbing about other utterly useless obscure bedroom black metal all the time.

I've been hooked on this band since "Vortex" - the drumming is creative, the vocals crazed, and this sample has some really fucking badass bass on it too which is really cool. They seem to get less "cold and raw" each lp and more technical and creative, unorthodox. It's hyper creative in some ways and progressive but it's unique in my mind thay everything BUT the guitar is what really gets me going on a BM record. I still need to get 'gift' on vinyl, maybe somewhere in the USA still has it.
