How's the quality? What's on the inside gatefold?

Can someone upload their punk sounding demos?

Originals aren't hard to find. Do some people really choose to buy the Back on Black quick-cash shit over those?

The originals go for about the same price as these reissues. It's good that things like this stay in print for younger people.

I was wondering about these myself, well actually just "Power From Hell". I know this label has a shitty reputation, but it seems to have improved with their recent releases?

I'd love an original pressing, but a 180g remaster (if done right) sounds just as good. I'm also curious to know if their reissue of Opeth's "Orchid" is worth the cash too.

I don't think the sound was fucked up on any of their previous reissues. They just don't care enough to put any time into their layouts. They just slap shit together by scanning the original LP cover or CD.

Why is there all this LP reissuing all of a sudden for bands such as Metallica, Onslaught, Mercyful Fate etc? They've also started stocking LPs at a local music shop here.

Are LPs becomming a trend now aswell as wannabe turds wearing patched denim? If this is all true I'm going to decapitate those nu thrash fuckers!

I gotta agree with Yosuke: this wave of reissues if perfect for young metalheads, those classic albums gotta remain available for ever. Of course, as far as ONSLAUGHT, METALLICA and MERCYFUL FATE are concerned, the originals Lp's aren't expensive at all, but for other bands, Lp's aren't easy to get, whereas the reissues are!

I'm obsessed by original pressing, but this is not the case of every single metalheads.

Good for you! But my opinion remains the same, reissues are cool for people (especially young metalheads, as mentioned before) who doesn't want to go on egay or to wait for finding a bargain.

as far as I'm concerned, I never buy any reissue except outsanding ones such as I.N.R.I. of NWN back in 2004 or the MYSTIFIER boxset to come.
