The Peel Sessions LP with Karl from Bolt Thrower on vocals, followed by World Of Shit. _________________ Tradelist + Good Traders:

Fuck Peaceville totally rules.
The new record is really good too, I think it's better than World of Shit which sounded a little tired to me. The new one just rips. |

Fuck Peaceville was all the rage when I was getting into crust, so that's been the one that stuck with me. Nice heavy production.
Always liked Hiatus and Masskontroll more, but that's another topic.... |

To me, this band is the ultimate "patch band."
Meaning that every goddamn crustie in my hometown used to wear the DOOM patch back in the 90's - but I'll be godfuckingdamned if I ever heard anybody talk about their music, or even knew anybody who owned any of their records. I swear to God: To this day, I have never heard a single song.
Judging by the poll so far, though, I'm guessing I should probably start with War Crimes...? |

You start with this widely and cheaply available compilation here:

And then you can already stop, because you got all you actually need. |

I love all of their releases, including the newest stuff, but "War Crimes", demos & the early EPs & splits are still the best. "Rush Hour of the Gods" is definitely my favorite of the later stuff. _________________ Analog Worship

I had a pretty rad looking Doom backpatch when I was a teenager, it was okay but I stopped wearing band patches by the time I was 16. Anyway, I consigned it at the local anarcho punk collective for like 50 bucks and it sold right away.... Crusties are fuckin' weird man..... It even said "smash capitalism" or something on it..... |

Fuck Peaceville would actually be a better place to begin as it has all their old stuff played and recorded a million times better than the originals. The version of Police Bastard on this shits on the original version.
This band kinda fits in the same category as ENT for me. A time and place band who don't really have anything completely essential.
Except the aforementioned version of Police Bastard |
