no album is 100% perfect except Gridlock - Trace and that's not even close to being metal.

These comes VERY close in my case. I remember there were some parts that didn't completely work for me but still 99% perfect albums.

Dimmu Borgir - (Contrary to popular belief, Stormblast is a popular favorite, mine however is 'For all Tid')

What can I say Eivittu, we both appeal to great tastes in music?

Glad I'm not the only one who digs For all Tid, everyone jumps on the Stormblast bandwagon as soon as one asks what's your fav dimmu album? Laughing

Great list ya got there btw!

It's a very personal thing, that's why I asked what people "think" are perfect albums.
Like someone already stated, the perfect albums are the ones with imperfections.
The albums I listed all have their flaws, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas.
This for me just stands above any album in all of metal, really. I could write down many others, but if on 0-100% scale DMDS is 100%, then nothing else deserves that note.
