Fucking killer score on the Amon Duul. I have a copy, but it's definitely a mid 90's bootleg. I think they even spelled it Duuul on the spine Laughing

One of my best scores ever was getting originals of Phallus Dei, Yeti, and Tanz Der Lemminge for a couple of bucks each the first month or so I worked at a record store around 2000 because I was the only employee who knew or cared who they were.

Fuck! That's awesome. Amon Duul II are probably my favorite of the krauty bands. What's your address?

Probably mine too, crazy thing is the other stuff the guy brought in included Faust, Can, Throbbing Gristle, PIL metal tin, etc. so I technically didn't even get the "good stuff". Other rejects I scored that day were Ash Ra Tempel "Join Inn" and some ok mid era Guru Guru albums. I can't recall which exact press the Amon Duul II records were (German, UK, US), I should do that tonight (not that I would ever sell them anyhow).

A friend of my mother in laws told me last year he had sold his entire lp collection for $300 and that it was full of classic krautrock, prog and experimental music. I damn near cried. "oh yeah, Can? I had all those. Klaus Schulze? Every one. I wish I would have called you, I didn't think anyone was into this stuff"

Totally agree. Great album, really happy to have it finally. I had to wait 10 weeks and a seam split from Mimaroglu, I think this is my last time ordering from them.... Neutral

It was released by a local store/label. You should've asked me to pick you up a set.

Shocked I've got the 2009 reissue only.
