"After 16 years of beer sweat and hell, I have decided to bring Gospel of the Horns to an end. We would like to thank the many friends we have made around the world during our journey.....and hail to Darragh from Invictus for his unending support. He has given Gospel every opportunity to drive our thrashing mayhem out to all. The time is right to move on to new horizons, and we are content in knowing that we have given everything we had in our arsenal. Our final show will be on the 7th December 2008 with Grave in our home town of Melbourne. This show will be one hell of a mighty occasion! Give em hell.....HOWITZER"

Absolutely terrible news.

Glad I was fortunate enough to catch them more then once on the Blood of the Damned tour!

Terrible news indeed... one of the best bands around.

Wish they didn't cancel UMM last year or wish I could come to LA at your place as planned Hellthrasher..

I hope their new projects will be that good..

It's a sad day indeed but I completely respect their decision as they feel they've gone as far as they can. Instead of dragging it around for the sake of it. Got to see them many times since 2000 & had a fucking blast with them.

It is indeed disappointing...but I completely agree. It's better to bow out with glory than to drag on in shame.

GOTH were one of the world's few remaining GREAT bands. The rest can be counted on one hand.

First Axis of Advance and now this... the number of great current bands seems to be dwindling this year, what a shame.

I didn't really like the last record as much as their earlier stuff, but GotH was still one of the best bands recording in this style, as well as an incredible live band. I hope the members will go on to new and even better things... an iron will is the will to succeed!

Yeah maniac, wish the same too.
That whole week/So.CA tour was monumental and impure!
My neck has never felt such wrath!
