Nope, you'll never see them on stage...
By the way, great band. "Autumn Aurora" LP rules!

The usual crappy "mellow" Burzum stuff, with boring vocals and lyrics ripped off from Urkanian poets. The same passionless crap you will have heard a million times. |

Mellow Burzum shit? Have you even heard them?
I really like The Swan Road. It has a great balance between harshness and catchiness, without being in any way twee or gayfolk. _________________ www.myspace.com/wothesperus

Hate Forest were infinitely better - I have no fucking idea why they stopped HF to dedicate fully to Drudkh. As someone else said, I find them totally insipid and dull... _________________ ANUNG UN RAMA, SANCTI AB JURA

can't deny their importance - as you can see from this thread, you either love them or hate them...i think the first two albums are absolutely brilliant. |

Brilliant band!
Season of Mist? Good for them then. Maybe they'll get a small tour
with a new album. Definitely a band I'd like to see live. |
That would be killer. I would love to watch them perform the first track off of Blood in Our Wells. That would rule hard. |

Of course I've heard them. Yes they do avoid the twee folk elements that a lot of these bands hear, but they're hardly Revenge are they? The vocals are dull and lifeless, and I wouldn't call an album of slow arpeggiated chords harsh.
Did anyone ever see that Drunkh "Anti-Tesco" spoof? That was hilarious! Worst thing is, the spoof track sounded better than the real thing! |

Decent band, like the early stuff more.
Not my favourite Ukrainian band though. I think Lucifugum are more interesting |

i've not heard the spoof (sounds like fun though) but the anti-urban "ep" was absolutely terrible. total cash in release, it was like two half finished demo tracks.
that said i love the first 4 albums! autumn aurora is extra special, some powerful riffs in that one! |

Blood In Our Wells is a great album... other stuff by this band has not excited me as much. Some pretty mighty and weird riffs that make it better than most bands in this niche. I also prefer Hate Forest to Drudkh in general though. |

I really like the vocals. They are almost Crust Punk in their delivery. really ferocious sounding (in a good way, of course ) The riffs are sophistcated and catchy without being in any way poppy. _________________ www.myspace.com/wothesperus
