As for my collection highlights I have numerous Arkham house Lovecraft editions, an ancient edition of the Discoverie of Witchcraft, old Baudelaire prints, a very first edition of Bulwer-Lytton's Zanoni (I am a descendant of his)

I collect mostly religious and philosophy, horror and war/history too. Theosophy, medieval estoerica, folkoric satanism, pessimism, all those grimoires ...

Anyone else into Colin Wilson? Very provocative writer.

Also for those interested in ancient egypt or even pre-jewish qabbalah, the work of Gerald Massey cannot be reccomended enough.

Speaking of picture books, a while ago my girlfriend gave me a book of artwork by Zdzisław Beksiński. Fantastic stuff, his artwork is morbid and musty.

I'm reading "The Devils Party - a history of false Messiahs" at the moment. I've read quite a few of his books, but i dont think he's ever done anything as good as "The outsider" again.

The Outsider is good, but his works vary greatly from this. I recently finished the Starseekers, which I thought was great. Then you have spider world, which is fiction, and still awesome.

The Outsider is his classic, but The Occult is my favorite, personally. It's really interesting.

As promised, here's some bigger pictures of some of those prints... sorry 'bout the shit quality, it's just a cheap digital camera photo. I don't have a scanner or anything... I included only ones that weren't on that other website:

And here's some more HPL paperback covers. @M69, if possible post some of your Arkham House covers!

This is a fantastic book, full of woodcuttings, astral
maps, anatomy's relation to chemicals and compounds, early
paintings of greek mythology and it's relation to alchemy.
It is about 600 or so pages and very high quality as it is
from Taschen. I found it at Barnes and Noble for 10 bucks, aside from
My Aleister Crowley reader and naked lunch, it is one
of my alltime favorites.

Those prints are killer! I'm a printmaking major at school, and I love doing woodcuts!

By the way, one of the best philosophical novels I've ever read. Definitely one of my favorite books ever.

I just found de Grivy's Witchcraft, Magic and Alchemy at the library. What an absurdly fascinating read. I can barely put it down. He has a ton of rare woodcuts/illustrations from old Occult tomes, along with rich history. Highly recommended.
