I had the opposite reaction. I was hooked instantly. That fuzz guitar tone and those riffs. The vocals are intense too |

People into old thrash metal shouldn't ignore this one. It's one of the best recordings from Poland in my opinion. And I'm not just saying this because I need to sell these records. |
Bump this thread please if you decide to make that combo. I'm broke but couldn't and will not resist that deal! |

Sarcasm is great (awful band name though), but I can't really compare the two. |

I'm bumping an 8 year old thread because this LP is SO FUCKING GREAT. So many great riffs and so many great solos. Vocals are KILLER.
It's literally crazy to me that these are still in stock. If you don't own them you are a do not entry..... |

Totally agreed...evil thrash that everyone here should worship. One of my favorite NWN releases. _________________ Trade/Sale List

One of my favourite NWN! releases ever, if this is still not "sold out" after 9 years, well it's just crazy. |

Oh, thanks guys for reminding about this, flew under my radar so to speak. I have Revenge Of Hellias and Closed in the Fate Coffin and I love this kind of dark and obscure Eastern Europe thrash sound! |

I guess people are very trendy for the most part and schizophrenic in their record buying. They jump from one bandwagon to the next. These Hellias LPs came out around the time when old thrash from Eastern Europe wasn't so popular anymore. I think there was an Eastern European old metal revival that happened for a short while when zines like Desecration of Virgin (King) and Tales From the Macabre (Costa) would talk about Kat, Turbo, etc. That went away pretty quickly in the mid 2000's when triangle snake black metal became very popular. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

I really hope you'll continue to unearth eastern bloc obscurities if you have the chance to. If they are not "best sellers", just print less copies.
I still hold the Hellias, Sarcasm, Kat, Tudor, whatever represses you did in high regard. |

Ultra Black Metal is THE most important NWN! release for me, no question about it! |

Fucking trends...was just listening to Magnus "Scarlet Slaughterer" another great album that finally came out on vinyl 8-9 years ago already. It was nice to see old thrash get reissued. A lot of stuff like this still never out in the proper version, easily available. |

The next obscure thing to be unearthed is Scarecrow from Poland. More first wave black metal than thrash but still very cool.
I'm still planning to do Vensor with Annick's help. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com
