not an album, but krypts open the krypt ep is pretty much perfect in my book. 4 songs of varied riffs and good execution, and a crushing production that beats their recent album in my opinion

I can understand that some intros on the Vital Remains stuff can be boring to some, but seriously, which flaws could anyone find in albums like 'MToN' or 'World Downfall' (even though "Dead shall rise" is a kinda letdown track for me), 'Chemical Exposure' or... 'Severed Survival'?!?!?! Not joking, I'm pretty curious about this.

Almost Flawless:
Bathory "S/t"
Vlad Tepes/Belketre "March to the black holocaust"
Celtic Frost "Morbid Tales/Emperor's Return"
Danzig "S/t"

Interesting choices.

Bathory's debut is flawless in my book, unless we count the overlong intro and the short running time.

The VT/Belketre-split is also flawless from what I remember, I even like the Belketre side more.

Morbid Tales/Emperor's Return? Don't see what could be filler track there. "Nocturnal Fear" is maybe partially on the silly side, but gets it even with hyper-speed.

The first Danzig.....long ago, not really in the mood for re-listening. Even though his first four albums are all classic, they also have their weaker parts.

can't really say that jump in the fire, pulling teeth and escape are 100% perfection like the rest.
