a great artiss, but I must say that I prefer the old drawings than the photoshop arranged stuff... some looks great btw as Korihor/Abigail tough.
btw, the arranged cover for Beherit "The oath..." digi cd sucks!!
talented artist, with his own style!!! 666!!! |

I think some (especially his newer drawings) are a little bit over the top (not talking about the colours here). The classic BEHERIT drawings, PUTRENANCE,BLACK CANDLE, ARCHGOAT and GOATLORD covers, INCANTATION 7"EP, BLOOD Split7"/ T-Shirt etc. all have this special feeling. But drawings like the PEST 7"EP, GOATHOLOCAUST CD and some more are not my taste....
I must include the ABIGAIL / KORIHOR one to those.
But I think thatīs more the fault of the bands since they probably always want another "Oath of black blood" styled cover from him.
2 new covers I really think are damn great are the DESASTER Angelwhore and ZARATHUSTRA Contempt covers. |

Photoshop to Moyen's art is an atrocity. It makes it look cartoony. The only colored art that I liked of Chris was the Mortuary (mex) LP, and I have that on PIC DISC
Creating illustrations can be frustrating and time consuming, so I am suprised to see how much quality work he has done. Hey, not everything can be masterpiece right? I prefer his earlier work though.
I really like the NWN! logo but... I don't see anything "nuclear" or "war" about the logo, haha. |

[ In cloning the goats, Chinese scientists adopted a technique of nuclear transfer, which is different from that used to produce Dolly the sheep. ]
Thanks to all for your comments.
Always interesting to get different opinions.

Ah yes, of corpse! My guess the logo came from the infamous goats that survived the Chernobyl disaster. They mutated and formed a black metal band! I heard the demo was great, the full-length.. not so much. |
