How long does it usually take for LP's to ship from Russia (Moscow) to US and/or Canada?
I've got one that's 3 weeks in but didn't show up yet (registered).

Anyone with same experience? I'd appreciate it. Thanks

I've waited 5+ weeks for things to arrive from Russia, numerous times.

Do you have a tracking number? The RU Post website has an English tracking feature, which I've found to be very helpful.

I have a tracking number, but it doesn't update once it's left the "sorting center".

I've ordered several times from Russia and 3.5 weeks has been the shortest delivery time. And since it's registered I'm sure you'll be fine.

Small packages (up to 2kgs, with "green label") are not traceable in Canada, USA and Australia for some reason, so you can see their movements only until export outside Russia. From my experience nothing was ever lost, but delivery to Canada is usually taking longer than to US; 2-3 weeks after the export date are normal. Keep in mind that all the outgoing packages sent during whole December were badly delayed in general.

Canada has just changed their shipping policies, now anything registered is no longer traceable through Canada Post. Although I've been able to track through the sending countries website, at least German post. It's really stupid, I can track first class international, stuff shipped with DHL but registered is no longer available. They did a weekend long software update in the fall and stuff I was tracking was no longer available after. Canada Post is great for delivery (Montreal to Toronto takes 12-16 hours for delivery) but for tracking it's the worst.

Anyway, that's an aside. I hope it arrives soon! But I've seen stuff sit in the "office of exchange" for weeks.

Ehhr, surface shipping option for small packages was cancelled here since January 1st 2015; so everything "green-labelled" is processed via airmail by default. There can be delays with processing through customs, but 3 months is something hardly imaginable; I'd say 2 months is the worst scenario if all is going fucked on both sides...

My rule of thumb has always been a month for anything international. After that, I look into it.

Too bad if true, I didn't know about that...

Russian Post site would show only till it left Russia, but it used(?) to be that it would show up on the Canada Post tracking site once it entered the country. Obviously there's a long gap in between.

I've got two dozen parcels from Russia over the past few years and only one took more than a month. All of them were registered I think. Average about 3 weeks. (And most of them were when I lived a long ways away from major population centres so that always adds a few days.)
